Scott's Story
Life
Hey everyone! If you cared enough to pull this up I consider you a friend! Welcome! The years have found me healthy and happy. Responsibilities are a daily challenge but I lean on my faith in God to get me through each day! My values have changed since high school and college but I would like to think you would find me the 'same ol' guy'!
After Clay I went to Shawnee State 2 years but lacked the direction to get a degree. I moved to Fremont and Bellevue OH. and found work at a factory making gas furnaces (I know, Yuk!) Back to Portsmouth where I worked at BankOne and graduated from SSCC with an AS degree in Banking. I promptly got fired at the bank. (Seems I didn't have the cooperative attitude they were looking for! LOL) Around '82 I signed up with Bob Evans Restaurants that took me to restaurants in Huntington, WV., Columbus, OH., Knoxville, TN. and you guessed it... Back to River City. In 88 I graduated from SSCC with an AS degree in Medical Laboratory Technology. While...Expand for more
working at Childrens and Grant in Columbus, OH. I got married!
My wife and I moved to Knoxville, TN. where I worked at University of Tennessee Medical center for 12 years. It didn't work out with my first wife but while at UT I met my wonderful wife Teresa. We got married in '95 and I became step-dad to 3 kids! (Hence the resposibilities I mentioned at first!) Our daughter Kelsey was born in 96 (we got busy!) She is now 13, cheer captain in middle school, almost straight A's (she is 10 times the student I was!)and playing first base in 14 and under softball! My step-son is in medical school, a step-daughter is a teacher and another in business!
My wife Terry and I are very busy and are so looking forward to retirement but wondering if we can afford it!
Jesus is my Lord!
If somewhere over the years I have offended you, I apologize.
If you remember me with some fondness, why not write back!?
I miss you and would love to hear how the years have treated you!
Go Panthers!!!
