Scott's Story
Well, Graduated in '83 of course. Matt Wetmore talked me into joining the Marines after he joined, I went to DBCC for a year while waiting to go off to boot camp.
I did my 4 years in the Marines and got out, went back to Ormond for a few months, then joined some friends and we set off cross country to Portland Oregon and I lived out there for a while.
I ended up moving back to Florida, but farther south, in Ft Pierce/Port St Luce, for a while before coming back to Daytona. I eventually moved to Madisonville, La and worked in a lumberyard then moved to Mobile,...Expand for more
Al which is where I've been ever since. That was around 1990 or 91.
I ended up back in school for Nursing. I've been a nurse for 13 years now, 10 years at the same hospital. Right now I do trauma, orthopedics, and surgical nursing. In the past I've done stroke, kidney transplant, internal medicine cardiac surgical nursing.
Since I live in Alabama now, everyone I know here is either an Auburn or Alabama fan, so I tend to get a lot of kidding and teasing about being a die hard Florida Gators fan. But the Gators usually speak for themselves. :)
