Scott's Story
Life
I have a very rich life. My wife, Vonda, and I were married in 1991 and we lived in Algonquin for 13 years. We waited 11 years to have our first child. Delaney Joy Dyer was born December 22, 2002, and she is, at 2 years old, very sassy and extremely cute--an absolute blessing! We both worked at Willow Creek Community Church, in the music department. I wrote songs, produced CD's, led worship and sang a lot. We had a great experience at Willow, and learned a lot about ministry and life. even got to sing for President Clinton in a private meeting in the oval office! In February of 2004, we moved to the Dallas, Texas area and I took a job as the Pastor of Worship and Arts at Bent Tree Bible Fellowship, in Carrollton. It is an amazing church, and I love what I do. I'm leading a team of 200 artists--vocalists, actors, dancers, technical artists, etc. I'm continuing to write songs and I lead worship there almost every week. Vonda, Delaney and I are loving Texas--it's been a great move for us! God has been really good to us, and we thank HIm every day for the difference He's made in our lives!
