Scott's Story

Workplace Since leaving the Air Force I have been in the electrical industry in all my jobs. I began working in a electrical supply store doing shipping and recieving. Eventually I worked my way up into sales, providing customers with the elevtrical equipment they needed. I made a career choice and decided to enter the field as an electrician myself. I have been there ever since and find it very rewarding as I see projects accomplished everyday and get alot of satisfaction knowing my work provides something tangible instead of just pure sales figures. ilitary was great. I was assigned in Alaska and spent alot of time either overseas or in Las Vegas. I entered as a aircraft mechanic and worked as a crew chief on the A-10 Thunderbolt (WartHog). I had great times and memories that will remain forever. Just being around the planes and under the Northern Lights of Alaska. I also saw alot of incredible places, like the Pope in Rome, and the churches and castles of Europe. Been to Seoul and the DMZ in Korea. Went through a hurricane in the Philippine, a nuclear scare in Korea, and civil unrest in Bosnia (well okay we flew out of Italy for that). And what did i get out of it all? A hand shake and some cool shot glasses...
