Scott's Story
Life
I am married to a wonderful woman (Rebekah) for 20 years. We have two teenage sons Jered and Joshua. We currently live in Fletcher, OK. I retired from the Army on June 30th, 2006 and was last stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, MO as an SRT Instructor. Rebekah is a Department of the Army civilian working in Resource Management. Jered and Joshua attend school at Cameron University.
College
I finished my Masters Degree in Business and Organizational Security Management through Webster University and was inducted into the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society.
Military
I entered the Army while still in High School. I left for Basic Training 10 days after graduation.
My assignments have included Heilbronn, Germany (1986-1989), Fort Sill, OK (1989-1992), Baumholder, Germany (1992-1...Expand for more
995), Fort Sill, OK (1995-1997), Waegwon, South Korea (1997-1998), Fort Riley, KS (1998-2000), Heidelberg, Germany (2000-2003) and Fort Leonard Wood, MO (2003-2006).
My final assignment was as an instructor and Operations NCO at the Special Tactics Training Division, Law Enforment Tactics Branch and actually teach at the Special Reaction Team phase I and Phase II courses. The Army SRT is the equivalent of the civilian SWAT team. Phase I is the basic course and Phase II is the marksman/observer (or law enforcement sniper) course. We also teach a Counter Drug Phase I and II to civilian agencies such as the Border Patrol, DEA, fedral, state and local departments.
I have deployed in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm and Operation Joint Forge (Bosnia) and Noble Anvil (Former Yugoslavia).
