Life
What is there to say........ my professional body building career didn't take off like I'd hoped. Then there was that great idea about becoming a male cheerleader... that bombed too. Seriously, I have 3 beautiful daughters Kassi who is 6 and in kindergarten this year, Kira who just turned 5 and Kirstin who turned 3 in January. I raise them by myself as my wife and i are in the midst of a divorce. When I'm not spending time with them, I am usually working or sitting in front of this damn computer sucking my will to live and wasting valuable time. Otherwise you'll find me at my second address, the poker room at meskwaki casino. Poker is one of my side distractions that funds my lavish lifestyle ..lol!
Workplace
Well after graduation i was happily living off the fruit of my family lounging around all day long until August of 1997 when i realized my true calling in life..... being a plumber.
I got hired on at Pritchard Brothers Inc. that fall and worked as an apprentice for a few years there and eventually recieved my Journeyman's Plumber License in May of 2002. After 6 years of employment at Pritchard Brothers I ...Expand for more
went to work for Gibbs Plumbing andn Heating in Ames, Iowa in 2003. My tenure with that company only lasted a year as i soon found out that sometimes the grass isn't always greener on the other side. About a year later myself and 3 other Gibbs' employees tried to organize the shop into a Union Local 33 plumbing shop by going on strike against unfair labor practices and picketing the office and various jobsites that Gibbs were on. By the way, one of the other employees was also a BHS grad. Chad Winninger. Anyways, we didn't get the shop to sign a union contract but the Plumber's and Steamfitters Union Local 33 in Des Moines accepted us as brothers for raising awareness for them. So now I make a hell of a lot more money than I did working for a private shop and love my job more than ever. I am technically employed by Gadbury Plumbing in Fort Dogde, but can go to any Union company that needs me. The best part is no matter what company i go to my wages and benefits don't change since its all in the same union. No bottom of the totem pole every time you change positions is nice. Any ways enough of the boring work crap..........
