Scott's Story
Graduated from Woodway in '82, had quite a few different jobs and played guitar in quite a few different bands during the heyday of the burgeoning Seattle music scene. Went back to school in '94 and got my BA from the UW. Now working in the computer field doing various things (A lot of fun and challenging for the most part).
Currently living in the Mill Creek area and work down by Northgate. Still talk to Woodway alum; Loren Kratzke ('83), Paul Kay ('79), Steve Swartzell ('82) and Mike Mongrain ('85) fairly often and Jim Houghton ('82) and Tracy Dunmire ('82) every so often ...Expand for more
as well.
It's too bad they closed the old high school down and combined it with Edmonds. Whenever I run into someone that says they went to Woodway I always ask them if they went to the "REAL" Woodway! I went by the school a few years back and it was sad to see the place somewhat run down and more or less vacant.
I didn't make it to the 20 year reunion as my father passed away suddenly just a few days before and I wasn't feeling up to it. I'm definitely going to try to make the next one.
