More about Scotty:"2011 - married 35 yrs to wife nancy - self employed in party rentals/disc jockey/BBQ - avid fisherman and boater - I love to cook anything from pizza to Tai - after 6 years at Mountain Valley Fish and Oyster (working for my good friend Andy Goldman) I embraced sea food and fell in love with sushi. I now love to entertain and suprise our guests with something they may not fix at home.
Nancy and I love to fish - she being the river nut and me as the one perfectly happy trolling down the lake in the boat with a cooler full of good beer. I must say the lure of river fishing is starting to take hold of me as I get better at it. This winter has found me down behind the park and fishing the river with our little dog scooter . You can't imagine how well it settles you down and balances out the pace of life. Oh yes I dream of the lakes that will soon thaw out and give us another season on the water.

and hope to RV across America and Canada- maybe even go to Alaska . My interests are the Lewis and Clark route as well as the Sante Fe trail - Nancy wants to go to the North West which will be fun as I can't wait to see where big pine trees are next to the ocean.
I have worked hard to get to where I'm doing what I like (for $) - BBQ and Music have been good to me and I don't see why I can 't keep them as my trade for a lifetime. As HogRock BBQ catering I have some anual events that will structure our year - in May I cook for a big party in Grand Junction (last 4 years) and in Sept (last 5 years) I cook meats back stage at the Telluride Blues and Brews festival in Telluride Colorado. Summer is balanced between weddings/ parties and camping /fishing.
This past year I have been very lucky to have gotten back in touch with some friends from the past - as far back as High School - and with the years racing by it is so special to hear from people that were friends then and still mean so much to me as friends now.
Nancy and I met in the fall of 1973 when I first started college. We dated a couple of times that year and then the next year got more serious (hey we had some great picnics) Saint Patricks Day 1975 we moved in together and the rest is history. Our girls are out of the house so it's off to see the wizard some where over the rainbow. Wish us luck! Scotty K".
