Sean's Story
After Highschool Graduation I studied Mechanical Engineering at CU Boulder. The last two years of my studies at CU I started working for the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, CO. I continued working there for 7 years. During that time I incorporated my snowboard Company, Donek Snowboards. In 1997 I went full time with the business. Manufacturing Snowboards became my family's sole source of income in 2005.
I was married to Jenifer, my College sweetheart, in 1997. We moved out of the city to a small town east of Denver called Watkins in 2001. We had a daughter in 2005. Her name is Claire. We...Expand for more

In 2005 I purchase some professional Photography equipment for the business. I quickly became addicted to photography. I shot sports photos for our small rural paper and occasionally photograph events until 2012, but became too busy with work to continue this endeavor.
In 20012 I began production on a CNC tool I developed in 1999. This is a knife cutting tool for CNC router machines called a drag knife. The Company is called Donek Tools.
