Life
I am an Information Technology (IT) executive residing in southern California currently working in the distribution industry. I live approximately 60 miles South of Los Angeles with my wonderful wife and four amazing children. My children are 16, 9, 6, and 4 years old. I sometimes think my teenager and my 4-year-old are the same age.
I have spent many years in IT management and have really enjoyed them. Prior to getting involved with IT, my focus was primarily management and leadership of people. ur motives are altruistic (as I believe mine to be) in that you would like to lead people to provide a better workplace, better productivity, a sense of purpose, and career coaching, you must be in a position to have influence over those areas. Politics is a process of marketing and examples of that are: getting others to see what you want them too, knowing what they want or making them believe that your way is better. This process of marketing if done well is the means to get to those levels in organizations whereby influence and direct control can be obtained. My hope is that this class will assist me in obtaining a deeper understanding of Marketing and markets.
