Greetings Tech Trojans!, To the unforgettable Class of 1983 Milwaukee Technical High School Trojans, it's our 30TH anniversary. I can still remember that blessed & cursed hot day. I was dressed in a dark blue suit that was too big for me. Even the grad song, "Atomic Dog" by George Clinton barks in my memory. My mama, pop, and sister where there. They were proud. But I was sad. I still didn't know what I wanted to do. Should I go to a community college? To the military? I still FELT like a little kid inside. My grades were just good enough to pass, but I was scared of the unknown, fearful of moving forward, and did I have anything to offer the road that lay ahead? I still didn't know what I wanted to do. Now i'm standing alone in a crowd of jubilation outside, in the middle of a month of Roses. JUNE. I look at my mama, and into my pop's proud eyes after the ceremony....my eyes shift towards the rain falling right on cue. Even roses weep too. I had a lot of INNER work that still needed to be done.
