Serena's Story
After graduating, I attended Forest Park Community College and Florissant Valley Community College. I have an associates in business and I am a certified phlebotomist. During those years I got married, had two kids Steven and Endia and became a widow so my education was put on hold. I contined my education off and on at UMSL and I am a few classes short of my bachelors in business administration. I am currently married to Anthony McKissick class of 90. We have twin boys Kyle and Daniel age 3. I have a total of 4 kids now and I have yet to find time to continue my education to complete my degree. that activity a moms job is never done. My husband works nights so I am the one having all the fun with the kids, Lucky me. I currently work at Bank of America in the Mortgage dept. Before that Wells Fargo and Us Bank. While dating Christopher Carr rest his soul his mother became my mentor and encouraged me to become a nurse. I call my self meeting her half way by taking medical classes didn't get far instead I became a Phlebotomist. This career plan was not for me as I was to find out so I ended up changing my career to Banking and I truly enjoy what I do. If I get a free moment without the kids, my husband and I like to take long drives, watch movies, or just sit and talk and enjoy silence.
