Shad's Story
Life
My wife, Karen, and I live outside McCook Nebraska on 80 acres we are turning in to a small farm. We have four children; Michael, Brandon, Blake and Kaelin Shad. I work for the Bureau of Reclamation here in McCook. I am building a house at the present time. When I'm not in the middle of building a house I collect John Deere tractors and toys and I race four wheelers.
Workplace

ir Force which took me to California then Alaska as an aircraft mechanic. After 8 years I seperated and moved to Amherst and ran my own automotive repair shop in Kearney for a couple years. When I tired of that I took a job with the Air Force as a civilian aircraft mechanic in Georgia. After three years there I accepted a job with the Bureau of Reclamation in McCook Nebraska. I now run their heavy equipment department.
