Shane's Story
I make my living as an artist and have shown my work in galeries and museums in the US and Italy. My LA gallery is Leslie Sacks Fine Art and my next solo show with them is January of 2009.
I also started a non-profit art gallery in downtown LA and have been instrumental in the renaissance in downtown. I was elected to the downtown neighborhood council 2 1/ 2 years ago for my first 2 year term and was re-elected last summer for my second two year term. I also chair the downtown Arts committee. It all keeps me a little too busy. My wife is an actress and was in many films including the Legend of Billy Jean and the Flamingo Kid. Her stage name is Martha Gehman. We have one son, Neville, and he will be 9 on Dec. 5th. He likes to draw and build things, not in to sports but is very creative. We live in Hollywood but spend each August in New Hampshire at the family lake house. And we have a Boston Terrier named Rembrandt. He thinks he is a human, of course.
