Shane's Story

Life I am living in northeastern Ohio. I miss the northwest and am still adjusting to living in Ohio. Ohio is too flat and has too many people. Work is going well but I am really busy trying to get established as a new professor, teaching many new classes and all the other things that go along with it. ! I received a Master of Science degree in Geology from New Mexico State University in 1999. I received a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Geology from Washington State University in 2005. Workplace I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geological and Environmental Sciences at Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio. Military I served in the United States Marine Corps from 1986 to 1990.
