Shannon's Story
Well, let's see, it's pretty simple. Rick and I got married in Dec 1988 and we started to move, because that's what you do when you marry into the US Navy. We lived in Florida, Idaho, California, Washington, New York and we have been in Virginia since 2001. After living in 10 different houses, apartments or military housing, we decided to build us our very own house in Williamsburg. We've been here for almost two years and we love it. There's so much to do.
We had our son, RJ (Ricky Jr.) in Dec 2003. He just turned 5 and he's so much fun. Keeps me busy, busy. He's great in pre-school and can't wa...Expand for more
it to start "real" school next fall so he can ride the bus. He loves his dog, his legos and his sandbox.
Rick is still proudly serving his country in the US Navy. Thankfully, he's done with those nasty deployments and basically works an 8-5 job.
I'm just greatful for all the people I've meet and the great friends I've made. I've lived in some of the best places and I've learned more than I could have ever wanted. I'm looking forward to spending every moment possible with my family, more traveling, Rick starting a new career and building a couple more houses...I really enjoyed building our current one!!
