Shannon Calhoun:  

Hello, I am now Shannon Calhoun. I am one out of 7 children. Three who have passed away. I grew up in Bismarck North Dakota until I was 13, then moved to North Portland Oregon. I went to Ockley Green Elementry School through 8th gr. Then to Jefferson High School from 1974-1978. Had many friends. Used to to work at Albertsons Snack Bar while in high school. I worked at Nationwide Ins. during my senior year and for 7 more years after that. I married Joe Calhoun in 1983.(28 years ago in February) Had 3 beautiful daughters. My oldest, Ashley is 26 and in the Air Force. My second oldest is Brittany, 24, currently in College for RN. My baby is Julianne, 18, just graduated from Brush Praire HIghschool in Vancouver, Wa. She will be going to Clark college to study for E.M.T. I went to 3 years of college to get my AA in Childhood Education. I was a Daycare Director at a small Christian Daycare Center and Preschool in Washougal Wa.for 7 years. I am now currently looking for work in the E.C.E field. I enjoy my work with children and love being with my family. I have my cats and a couple hunting dogs too. I have lived in Vancouver for over 27 years, and love it here.
