Shannon's Story
Hi everyone. How does one catch up the past 30 some years in a paragraph? I am a graduate of 1976 and here are some of my highlights. After highschool I went off to Olds College and studied Fashion Merchandising. There I met a lot of great people who became my close friends and one became my husband. I worked in Calgary for a while then after getting married we moved to Eastend, Sk. This is a beautiful place only 1 hour drive from the Cypress Hills area. We built a new home and settled into farming life. I worked at a variety of businesses over the years and then we began our family. I have a son, who now lives in Calgary, and twin girls, one lives in Eastend and the other in Radville, SK. I work at our school as an educational assistant and this worked great giving me the same days off as the kids.

ds grew up and moved on I became very restless and bored so I opened my own store called Shannon's Closet. It is a quaint little gift store that is gratifying and a nice balance from working at the school. I still work at the school and hire a couple of gals to run the store until I finish for the school day. This means I work six days/week.
I just returned from a trip to Italy... would love to return. I travel to different places for buying shows such as edmonton, toronto, and Las Vegas. I love to scrapbook, make cards and sew. I have a beautiful granddaughter too, I now also have a handsome grandson! I do make it back to Saskatoon twice a year to visit with my parents, maybe someday i will be able to get together with old friends. So, what have you been up to?
