Shannon's Story

Life I got married in February 2003 to Thomas Austin, an Army officer from Michigan. His job has brought us to Chicago, where we now live. We are expecting our first child in September 2005. Update: Our healthy baby daughter was born in September 2005, and we left Chicago in July 2006 for my husband's job. We now live just outside of Kansas City, MO. But we won't be here long -- we move again in 2007! July 200...Expand for more
7/Another update: Five days before our planned move back to Tennessee, we got word that my husband had been picked up for a completely different Army job. So we are now in the middle of moving to Washington, DC/Northern Virginia. Hopefully we'll be there for three years -- whew! August 2007: We're in Woodbridge, VA (about 25 miles outside of Metro DC) for the next 3 years. Looks like we'll enjoy our time here!
