Life
Both of the kids are in college now and I've got real-life "empty nest syndrome". Didn't know how that was going to work out being alone with the DH for the first time in 21 years, (what the heck would we even have in common to have a conversation about?!)...but amazingly...it's working out great. The best thing is getting to know yourself as a person separate from being "someone's mom" again and rediscovering the things about life that you love. I'm concentrating on remodeling the house right now and that is just like Christmas for me. (smile)

ars have taught me that time is precious and we shouldn't wait until funerals or tragedy to contact those people that have made impacts on our lives. Life is way too short. I've reconnected with several of my childhood buddies through Classmates this year and it's been great. There's no better feeling than talking to an old friend for the first time in forever, and the conversation is so easy and the laugh is the same....it's just like no time has passed at all. Trying to reconnect with both past interests and those who've touched my heart. FIND ME!! I've missed you.
