Shannon's Story

Life I left FM right after graduation and went to the east coast, Old Greenwich Connecticut. While living there I put myself through some college while being a nanny. Met "Mr. Wrong" moved to Chicago, later met a wonderful man, I thought anyways, later married and I now have 2 beautiful Children: one girl and one boy, two of the greatest joys of my life, than ran 5 successful businesses, with my husband (All Real Estate Related) until 2006 when we sold them off so we could spend more time with our children. In 2007 I divorced and again ran 2 Real Estate offices (one in Nauvoo and Algonquin Illinois- Oasis Real Estate Professionals). In April of "08" we merged with Starck Realtors (to give me a break) If there's one thing I could share with all of you...it's follow your dreams and believe in yourself...As long as you are true to yourself you will succeed...in life especially...it's not measured by how much you make, but what you make of it! made it through high school with all the crazy things several of us did is amazing. What's funny now is to look back at how late we stayed up and out, where as now I'm lucky to make it to 10 p.m. Those were definetly the "days" as they say. Workplace My husband & I opened up our own Real Estate Firm in 1999. In 2002 my husband quite where he was and started working with me at and in the business. In 2005 we sold our offices to Coldwell Banker Primus to spend time with our family and in 2006 filed for divorce. However in 2006, I ran 2 Real Estate offices and taught Real Estate Classes with Oasis Real Estate Professionals. Our two offices are in Algonquin IL (Chicago Suburb) and Nauvoo, IL. In April of 2008 we merged with Starck Realtors to give me more time to be with my family and to heal from nearly dying last year. I believe that a happy and condusive work enviroment creates a happy and productive agent. Which creates a "Win Win" for all parties involved.
