Hey everyone!!!
I was Shanta Cox in high school I now go by Shanta Scates due to a marriage. I have a 5 year old son named Maison. I live and work in Knoxville TN. I never moved to a far and distant place like I always wanted to do. As I got older I realized that Maynardville is not as bad as I thought it was in my younger days. There are a lot of great people there that I love dearly.

Some of my best friends in school are some of the people that I never talk to anymore and some of my best friends now are people I really disliked in school. I think that it is really odd how things work out when you get older and you think they are so bad when you are young.
To friends I have not seen or heard from in years. I hope I am remembered as the funny and talented young lady that I was, and not the boring don't do anything anymore person that I am now! LOL
