I hope my old friends and acquaintences remember me as a person that they could count on to be there for them. Someone that listened when they needed a shoulder to lean on. Yes, I had my moments. I didn't always open up about my personal wants, needs, dreams or desires. I too much drama going on in my personal life, that I never wanted to go beyond the front door of my home. We were poor, very poor. Seven kids, w/ very little money coming in. One thing that most people didn't know is that I started working in 7th grade to help support my siblings. I was paying rent by 8th grade. Although I missed alot of school due to illness, I missed alot of time b/c of work. What I learned over the years was by keeping my head in the books, and teaching myself. I was asked to leave FCPS when I transferred schools in my senior year.
