Shari's Story
Wow! What can I say? I have had a great life since high school. After high school I married and moved to Santa Clarita. I then divorced my husband in '99 and went back to school a few years later to earn my degree in Information Technology. I also achieved my MBA. I am now working on certification for Financial Advisor, Real Estate Broker, and eventually a Financial Broker.
I am currently a Data Warehouse Developer. I teach Data Warehousing on the side. I do 7 step, on hands, seminars for parents who want to learn how to keep their children safe on today's technology from online predators, bullying, and themselves. I am currently writing a book for KidSafe.
I do a lot of volunteer computer/networking/web development/database work for Snowball Express and other such organizations. I truly love the people that I get to meet within these organizations. It has proven to be a great adventure.
I enjoy running and have run...Expand for more
a couple of 1/2 marathons. Why not a full marathon, you may ask? Well, . . . because I am only 1/2 crazy. I love dancing and go out every time that I have a chance.
I have met some great quality friends over the years that have been a great inspiration for me. Their positive outlook and desire to continue setting and reaching goals is magnetic.
After a few years of developing my career and going to school, I have met a truly dreamy guy that I treasure. We have been dating the last three years and it has been great. We have a lot of fun traveling, hiking, dancing, going to Andre Boccelli concerts, etc. We are even learning how to fly RC airplaines so that we can one day have a "real" one that we can fly without dive bombing it.
That's it for now. I have bumped into some high school classmates at the wineries and in shops. I hope that I can catch up with more of you. Drop me a line.
My best to everyone! Go Mariners!
