Shari's Story

I am the proud mother of four children ~ 3 boys, 1 girl. Life took a turn when my husband died of kidney cancer in 2002, but as the saying goes ~ "only the strong survive," and we are definitely doing that, and more.
My oldest one, Michael, is a jr in college attending IU's Kelly School of Business for accounting / finance -- turning 22 in June.
Andrew is our 19-year old comic relief and a freshman marketing major at USI in Evansville.
Dean is 16 and a soph at Brownsburg High School, still playing basketball and on the weightlifting team.
My 14-year old daughter, Jessie, is a freshman at Brownsburg High Sch...Expand for more
ool. She has the musical and artistic background ~ not to mention the 4.0 GPA.
The kids are my pride and joy...my life. Little do they realize, I think I need them sometimes MORE THAN they need me! God has truly blessed me!
College
I attended SIU out of HS, but returned home to MCC and received an AA degree.
I married and moved to Indy, began school at Indiana University, but after 1 semester learned I was going to be a mother, so the degree became a back-burner item. Nearly 20 years later, I graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a B.S. Degree in Marketing, and graduated in August 2009 with an M.S. Degree in Management.
