Shari's Story
I moved back to my home state of Arkansas in April of 1980 where I met my husband Rick Witherspoon. We were married on October 17, 1980. We have one son (Gary), one daughter (Catherine), and a 1-year-old grand-daughter, (Emma Kinslie Rain). We all live in Prairie Grove, Arkansas along with my parents who live a few miles away in Farmington, Arkansas and my brothers (Gary Holland and Ross Bailey) who live in Fayetteville, Arkansas. You might say we all went back to our roots. I have worked as an Administrative Assistant at the University of Arkansas for 27 years. Go Hogs! Arkansas Razorbacks! I love my life and I love my family and friends!

d each time I visit I am in awe of it's beauty. Arkansas is a beautiful state but it just doesn't hold a candle to the Pacific Northwest.
Several years ago, Laura Lampkin Peters and I reconnected our friendship and have taken a couple of road trips down to my Great Uncle's house in Lakeside, OR. We rode horses on the beach, went whale-watching, and rode dune buggies. Laura is actually coming to Arkansas to visit me for the second time in September 2008. We are planning a trip to Branson, MO since it is only about 2 1/2 hours away - (Silver Dollar City, Celebration City, Outlet Malls, Music Shows, Titanic Expo, etc.). I am really looking forward to her visit!
I hope everyone is happy and healthy and I can't wait to see you all at the 30-year reunion!
