Shari R's Story
Grew up on a hill above Wheeler Field above the Railroad tracks. Went to Lincoln Elementary and Lincoln Junior High before going to Denfeld High School. I joined the Bowling League in 1971 and 1972. Used to go Roller Skating in Proctor, and sometimes in that old arena downtown. I'm deaf and hearing-impaired since 3 years old, and had to go to two different classrooms while in Elementary school, and Jurior High. eech Therapy/one-on-one help with Science and math. My fellow classmate Debbie Salo is still my best friend whenever I get a chance to communicate with her. She's on Facebook, too. The twins were neighbors of mine who used to live just below the railroad tracks, bless their souls because they had troubled childhoods whenever their father comes home. For those of you who used to tease and bully me through out my school years, I forgive you, and no hard feelings.
