Life
Dear Classmates,
I'm having an interesting life. I was married in 1974, and I have been married since then to the same fascinating man, Craig Meisner. We have 3 wonderful sons (do I sound trite?), but they are all wonderful. One who is 28 years old, getting married in June, is a lawyer in Philadelphia, and he is marrying a lawyer. The next son is a grad of UNC Chapel Hill, working in technology and getting his Masters in Ed ( online). My last son is a freshman at Guilford College.
I am an Elem Teacher. I teach in Durham this year, but next year I will return to Dhaka , Bangladesh to teach again at the Amer Intern'l School/Dhaka. I like to teach 5th Grade, but I have taught all grades Pre K through Gd 8 in my career. I have lived about half of my adult life in Bangladesh and I love ...Expand for more

My husband is an ag scientist and works to grow better breeds of rice, wheat and corn in SE Asia. He is also involved in researching solutions to the problem of arsenic in the ground water of Bangladesh; solving the problem of rickets in a certain group in southern Bangladesh; and breeding better strains of papaya (Vitamin A deficiency in children causes blindness and papaya has lots of Vit A to prevent it).
We have a home in Chapel Hill.

Remember the English teacher who made us memorize the intro to Canterbury Tales? I still can recite " Whan that Apreel with ees shora sota..."
