Sharlene's Story
Do you guys realize that in 2 years it will be 40 years????? Have any of you grown up???? Well not me..I've had a busy life raising 4 kids and working my way up the ladder of success. My how your perspecive changes as life goes on.So many things we thought were so important really don't mean that much now adays. For me it all boils down to family and friends. That's what is important to me. I'm retired now and living in our new home on almost three acres in Arlington. I have one more son still home and he is a Junior at Lake Stevens High. Right now he is in drivers ed so it has been interesting having to drive with him. The other three had thier Dad do the honors as I was to nervous. Terry is not well so I have the honor. He is retired from the Alaska State Troopers.
We spent 20 years in Alaska and 11 years in Othello Wa. Our oldest daughter graduated there and also went to CWU. They just bought thier second home in Lake Stevens and are very happy. They have two boys,Haden 11 and Riley 6.Jason has 5 kids but only two are in Wa. State so I don't get...Expand for more
to see them very often. Jeremy also lives in Lake Stevens and has a daughter Allie and son Austin.
My best friend from school Janet Razor and I are still BFF. I see her at least once a month when she comes up to stay. Sometimes her and her husband come up for the weekend. She finished HS in Kent but we have been able to keep our friendship all these years. We have been to Hawaii twice together and plan another trip there soon. Mark is going with us next time.
I've really enjoyed Classmates.com and have been able to get in touch with some of my old friends.
Some of you may remember my older Brother Bill Byron. He passed away on Oct.11,1990 in a hunting accident. It was devistating for our entire family. It still feels like yesterday. I am finding out we have lost several of our peers and it saddens me so much.
Does any one out there know how to get in touch with Limda Scott? I'd love to hear from her.
I sure hope to hear from some of you that remember me. All my best wishes to you all and lets pray we all have a great New Year and peace to all.
