Sharon's Story
I have been married for 45 years (yes to the same wonderful, adorable man) and still live in Pleasanton. I have 6 children, 3 boys, 3 girls, and 1 step daughter. I have 13 grandchildren. 3 of them are in high school, 4 are middle school age, the rest are all under 6yrs old.
My step daughter has 2 children, they live in Oregon. We don't see them as much as we would like.
My oldest son is married with 3 children they live in the area. He works in construction. It's a joy to have them so close.
My oldest daughter is divorced with 4 sons. She lives at home for the moment.with 2 of her boys. the other 2 visit several times a year.
My third child, a daughter is married with 2 girls. They just moved out of state. I miss them a lot. I had been babysitting them since they were born.
My second son, our fourth child, works consrtuction and lives north of here. He is married and has 2 chil...Expand for more

Our fifth child, a daughter works for Safeway offices, attends college locally and lives at home.
Our third son and last child works part time, attends college and still lives at home.
(Thank Goodness all our children went to Foothill, at Amador they might have learned what a trouble maker I was in school) LOL
I'm a stay at home mom and now I babysit my grand kids often. I like to read in my spare time (which isn't much). I like to do puzzles and play Hay Day on my phone. I make quilts for new mothers in my church and the homeless. I've made fleece tied blankets for dogs and cats at the SPCA. I volunteer at the senior center and help out at veterans events. I loath reality shows, but like watching Hallmark movies.
Most important is my family. I love being with them, sharing their life, no matter if it's at a theme park, the beach, or a family dinner, they rock my world.
