Sharon's Story
Life
Wow, where to begin? I was married very early, had two beautiful daughters close together by the time I was twenty one. I left California "and divorced" when my youngest at the time was four months old and moved to Iowa. I worked for a jewelry mfg, and did modeling around the country at different shows for six years. This was not only hard on my girls but hard on me. I was looking for a day job, Monday thru Friday. I did a show in San Francisco, my sister and brother-in-law lived in the bay area and I came to visit them at his place of employment. Long story but the owner hired me, moved us back to CA, and I have been working for him every since, eighteen years now. I was married again, this time for ten years which produced my youngest, who is now fourteen. I may not have been blessed in the marriage dept. but I have been with my children. My oldest (28) is in the Navy and going to school to become...Expand for more
an attorney, married with two girls. My youngest daughter (26) is a teacher, married with two girls, and my son is rapidly becoming a football star and could model for G.Q. The one thing in life that I have learned, is that it's too short to be un-happy. If you don't like something, change it! If I want to learn about something I get a book. I have learned everything from how to tile the kitchen floor, to plumbing, decorating, sewing, embroidery, cake decorating, pottery and what ever else tickles my fancy, including learning how to ride a motorcycle and getting my license. I live my life treating others better than even I would want to be treated. I have developed some wonderful friendships that I will always treasure. I love being a grandmother. I hate to cook!, but I love to bake. Now I am worried that I am boring you, so I sincerely hope you have a wonderful day, and thank you for stopping by!
