Sharon's Story
Life
Basically--I worked in Gbr area for 4 years at 3 different jobs, at one point at once--Got married, moved away still in WV--worked some more-had 2 kids--moved away from WV area and raising my kids and working until recently disabled, and having a happy life in TN. Computer is my outreach. I am still in contact with alot of classmates back home. I miss it that is for sure!
Ack, lots has happened since--moved back to WV for a very short time, which--I found somethings never change--yet somethings seem to get worse.
I am now living with my children in South Western Virginia. Its nice being close enough to visit often, yet, where things are far more accessible. I found the definite diagnosis of my diseases. I knew about the degenerative spinal and disc disease, which I have only a couple of vertebrae and disks NOT involved. I also have a form of Dystonia, a muscle disease, which is Paroxysmal nonkinesigenic Dyskinesia (PNKD). Basically, certain movements cause and sometimes just standing or doing something to long causes that part of my body to knot up and lock up in a muscle spasm. If not gotten under control immediately, then it spreads. ky. More recently (2009) I was diagnosed also with Lupis, which is an immune disease in which your body can attack itself.
My boys, Jeremy (born in 93) and Adison (95) are really great kids. I am a very lucky mom. Jeremy is playing High school football. Adison is in Middle School and interested in playing in card leagues. Both have a great network of friends. Jeremy is working at a neighboring farm and Adison is eager to start mowing or something where he can earn some money. They have great goals, and we are EXTREMELY happy!
It is hard to believe how many missed the big 20 reunion. I had a good time, was happy to see all who were there, I am saddened by those who are gone, and those we have lost since.
I have such fond memories of school and you guys. I believe there are only a few people that I didn't have a class with at some point. Sometimes I think the disease has increased my memory, I'm not sure if it is due to the fact of my limited actions, or if it is just the way it works. I hope alot more are able to make it to 20 than 10, I myself guilty in this matter. But--during the 10th reunion I had a kid with major health problems, both a bout of cancer it ended up being, but we were also in the middle of gaining better control of autism with my youngest.
I really hope to hear from you guys!!! Msg me anytime on yeahmayb on yahoo if you get a chance.
