Sharon's Story

Life I live in the midwest. I love the country air. I have 3 grown children. I have one grandson who is the absolute joy of my life. I live single and love it. I joined the Army after one year of college. I was not excited about college at all I needed a bigger challange. I sevred 7 years and decided that being a mother was the greatest challange of my life so I left the Military. I raised my children in the midwest safe and happy. I went back to college to get the one thing I always wanted in life, and that was to be a chef. I have worked in the field now for 3 years and wow what was I thinking. t. Louis University. My oldest son just finished 3 years in the Army. I thank God that he is safe. My daughter is married to a wonderful young man I could not be happier. My youngest son is starting college in 2008. I love camping, cave diving, hiking and of course cooking. I visit New York often. I still love to go to Manhattan and get a hot dog. People here still laugh at my accent. I am ok with that I am a New Yorker to the end. I cheer for the Yankees and the Mets here and get big go back to New York heckles but that is ok also. I have not been to one class reunion due to the fact that when they were held I was not even in the United states. I hope to attend the next one God willing.
