Sharon's Story

Hello Friends . . . A little about these 50-odd years since we last met . . , I still live in Houston, I'm a mother of two, and as of a year ag0, a widow. My husband of 37 years died after a long illness. His passing, along with the Pandemic, came together to make 2020 a tough year. I am a retired public relations manager. Three of my former employers are the University of Houston, the Boy Scouts of America and MHMRA of Harris County (the local Mental Health, Mental Retardation authority). s I was a newspaper reporter and magazine editor. I wrote for the Houston Chronicle and the Houston Business Journal and a bunch of others. My degree is in journalism. Ed Fredholm is one Memorial friend I'm still in touch with. He is married, the father of two, and a very busy retiree who lives in Austin. Good luck to everyone.
