Sharon's Story
I went to Wheelersburg Schools the whole 12 years. In high school we were the 4 musketeers, my 3 friends and myself.
I look back on all of that now and wish I could go back, do everything differently, especially high school. You make so many mistakes in life. When you are young, you think that it is cool. When you get older, you wonder "what was I thinking?"
I got married right of out school. I had 4 children. I now have 11 grandchildren. I have lived in Dayton, Ohio, Lexington, Kentucky, and beautiful Hendersonville, North Carolina. I live there for 20 years.

k 6 years ago to take care of my mother. She died last year but I am still here. I guess there is no place like home.
I hate it that our high school was torn down just like the other wheelersburg school buildings. We have some remaining building of one and steps of the other.
I loved our school and was very proud to be a pirate. I was the one that had a lot of parties at my house. My poor parents, I don't know how they stood it.
Wisdom is wasted on the older people. No one will listen to them, we didn't.
Just think how it would have been in school if we were all as smart as we are now!! Wow!!!
