Sharon's Story
Life Hasn't changed much since my last profile. Still very busy with the kids. Darin is now in middle school, finishing grade 6 tomorrow. Inaya 's last day of school was today. The year has flown by.
We leave for Europe in a couple of days, my men want to see Euro Cup, soccer is very big in BC.
So we will start of In Zurich, go to Vienna, then to Salzburg, Venice, Marbella, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, then London. It will be the longest break we have ever taken. But a trip of a lifetime for the kids. Especially Darin, my history buff.
Darin still loves his soccer, but has just taken on drums. He has some natural talent, and is on Fareed's case to get drums. Thank God they come in electric now, it'll save my sanity! Hopefully this will encourage him to sing more, he has a beautiful voice. But in his mind singing isn't manly enough. The ideas they come up with.
Inaya has been taking Piano this past year and doing very well, just had her first recital. She is still very girly girl, loves to shop, has very definite ideas about what she likes. She has decided soccer is not for her, so cheer leading is it now. Wants to join an competitive team next fall.
Myself, I'm learning how to swim, it is the longest 1/2 hour of the week! But when I make progress, it feels great.
I just finished chairing a fashion show for the school, it was a huge success, lots of fun to work on, so much fun, I'm doing it again next spring.

n Koh Samui - Thailand, Manila & Borocay - Philippine's and Malaysia for the first time. I definitely recommend travelling to that part of the world. The food, people, beaches, weather are all amazing. Very kid friendly as well.
Days after we got back home, my sister Andi arrived. with her hubby Rob and youngest Becky. It was wonderful to see her, the last time was when Dad passed away December 2006.
He had been sick for some time, in and out of hospital with anemia, so it was a shock when he passed. But as you all know he was the base drunk, and had abused his body for years. Even though he had finally stopped drinking it was too late. The
doctor's think he had bone marrow cancer. It was the first time the Carroll family had been together in probably 15 years. We're not a close bunch.
But back to Andi, the visit was great, the weather sucked, but Rob thought compared to Brandon it was balmy! But my family fell like domino's to a flu that keep them from work and the first week back to school, while they were here.
Next time I hope they come in the summer, which is usually great here.
The rest of the family is fine, my mom is in Moose Jaw with her Husband Larry, they just bought a trailer home.
Cathy is back in Brandon, with both her kids in University of Brandon. My brother Gerry is around somewhere, he doesn't choose to let us know. See we are certainly not a close family.
Well I have two children who want to cuddle and that I can not say no to. So til next time take care.
