Sharon's Story
Back in high school, I hung out with Sharon Estop, Jeanne Stacy and Tina Stathis when I wasn't dating Bill Strickland, who I married in 1966. After our divorce, I met, fell in love with (?), dated and married 2 others ... but met my soul mate in 1992 in Pompano Beach. We married in 1997, I retired from AT&T in 2001 and we moved to Banner Elk, NC the same year where we built a beautiful log home. We lived there for 13 years, skiied Beech, Sugar...Expand for more
and Appalachian mountaIns every time we got a chance and made some wonderful friends. We finally got tired of the winters with the snow, ice and getting cabin fever, so we have moved back to South Florida to be closer to our families, some great friends and being able to enjoy outdoors all year round. I'm sure we'll miss the cool temps in the mountains in the summer, but that's what vacations are for....lots of friends to stay with up there.
