Life
Hello! I am sure many of you Highland Park'ers don't remember me even though I went to school with you from 1st through 8th grade. I was the chubby quiet girl and my dad was a football coach at HPHS.
My Girl Scout friends from Mrs. Barker's troop may remember me as "Dud", your favorite nickname for me.
Well, I'm not so quiet now, as a matter of fact, you probably have a hard time keeping me quiet!
I moved at the end of 8th grade to Ft Worth, and I've been here ever since. I grew up, married my high school sweetheart, and was divorced several years ago.
I haven't remarried, because I can't find anyone to keep up with me. Life is too short to sit in front of the TV; not when there are a million miles of back roads to discover, not to mention all the small towns and antique stores along the way! I never travel without...Expand for more

After graduating, I have had a wide variety of careers - from secretary to donut shop owner to the first female Parks and Recreation Director in Tarrant County - business owner, program director for an outreach program in distressed areas of Ft Worth and finally setteling on manufacturing. Can you find the commorn thread there?
Even though the marriage didn't last I was blessed with a wonderful life and two beautiful daughters. An I am here to tell you that God's reward for surviving your own kids being teenagers is grandchildren!
I don't know where all my Highland Park, Richland and Paschal friends have scattered to, but I would love to hear from some of you! I would love to know where you have been and what you have been up to. Write me soon...let's get together.
