Sharon's Story
Life
Jim and I live in Chesaning. He is retired now from G.M. He is really enjoying it.
I am still working. I am the Assistant Director of Nursing at a Long Term Care Facility in Corunna. I love my job. I used to teacher school at a Treatment Center for Juvenile Boys, but it became too stressful after 4 years of that, so I decided to go back into nursing.
We are grandparents now. Our daughter and son-in-law, Mike, have given us a grandson, by the name of Baylor, who is two years old and the love of our life. Our son Scott and his wife Melissa have given us two adorable grandchildren that are fraternal twins. They are Luke and Abbey. I still get together with Wilma Rojas (Adams), Lil K. (Agnew), Kaye Reinhart (Jacobs), and Christ Mishler (Wilcox). Since our last reunion, we rekindled our friendships and do fun things together whenever we get a chance.
I have been very active in my church and quite involved in Missions. I have been on two mission trips to Costa Rica. This has been an absolutely life changing experience for me. We plan and provide a three day day camp, assist at the feeding programs, and much much more.
I would love to hear from any classmate from 1967. Our 40th class reunion is Sept. 29, 2007, at the Horizon's Center on State Street in Saginaw from 6-11.
