Sharon's Story
As I reflect back through my life, I have been very blessed! I married my Prince Charming over forty years ago and have lived a grand life ever after and it continues! We have a beautiful princess who is now 39 years and is making a definite statement in life with twins and a super husband in Dallas!
Backing up a bit-I completed my bachelor and
Masters degree and began my path as a teacher!
I loved education as a teacher, counselor and an administrator. With husband as a superintendent of schools, we ‘lived schools’ for many years at which time I completed my doctorate so we became Dr. and Dr. As I completed this accomplishment, our daughter began college and completed her degree as a lawyer!

second career! We started a non profit foster care agency! Our agency, A World for Children, has served over 25,000 foster children thoughout Texas thru our 14 statewide offices during the past 22 years! God blessed us mightily. Paul and I are slowly retiring and our daughter, Ashleigh has taken the helm and is doing a super job!
Most of our life has been around Austin! We currently live in Elgin in our fairytale home which was build in 1898 - lots of remodeling
and updating! With a Victorian style we are stepping back in time and living our dreams. We are on 10 acres right outside of town!
As our work life is slowing. We have discovered river cruising in Europe! We save up and try to tour once a year - we have
been truly blessed - God is awesome!!!!!!
