Sharon's Story
Hello to all who stop in -- after graduating from VCS in 1975, I went to St. Lawrence University, then the University of Missouri-Columbia, then entered the Army as a 2d Lieutenant in the Transportation Corps in 1981. I am now a Colonel in the Army, have spent time in Virginia, Germany, Washington DC, Washington State, New York (West Point), Missouri, Alaska, Germany again with a year in Bosnia , Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Colorado with seven months in Kuwait and Iraq, and have been b...Expand for more
ack in Germany since 2004, with a year back in Iraq. I will retire in 2011 with 30 years of service, and can say it has been challenging but fun the entire time!
Over the years I have come to realize how great it was to go to High School in Victor -- gave me a wonderful base of values I have nurtured and grown with over the years. I can't count how many times I have reflected back and appreciated the teachers and friends from Victor I knew, hope all are well and happy.
