Sharon's Story
I was known as "Sharon" through high school, picked up the nickname "Shay" while dating Judy Dalton prior to being banned by her mom.
Best friends were Jimmy Palmer and Dewey Jarrett back then. We were sorta hoods at the time.
Joined the US Navy when I was 17, they kind of got me under control. I was stationed in Hawaii for a year, then on a destroyer for the next two years including a eight month vacation in and around Vietnam, spent final year at Naval Air Station Moffet Field in Sunnyvale, Calif., where I re-united with Judy Dalton, we were later married in 1968.

ad moved to Northern Calif., and I started work at Standard Oil Refinery in Richmond, Calif., after a year switched to Chevron Research Corp where I worked as a lab tech in a research lab for the next 25 years.
In 1992 I took early retirement and we moved back to Utah, locating in Richfield which we were sure our kids would reject but they totally loved it. We had 5 children, Tonya, Monty, Jared, Misty and Dusty, all are married except Dusty who can't fit marriage into his golf schedule.
I now drive truck locally for a living and we still find our way over to Moab about once a month to visit Judy's family.
