married '72, nassau community college '74, moved to rhinebeck '74, son born '77, suny new paltz '80, adelphi graduate school of social work '85. i am retired from my position as a school social worker/program director. presently, work as a supervisor of 3 alcohol and substance abuse treatment clinics in dutchess county. have 6yo grandson and have travelled across the usa, hawaii, mexico, canada, costa rico and italy. many trips to california, florida, massachusetss (cape cod), pennsylvania, maryland & D.C., and rhode island. I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right. swimming, gardening, working out, yoga, massage and listening to music are my favorite ways to relax. the wildest thing i ever did in school, that i can remember, is holding up the classroom wall in 9th grade at 9:30AM. mr. abrams looked on as we all ran to the wall and held it up while yelling; "the wall is falling, the wall is falling!" that was at sylvia packard j.h.s.
