Sharon's Story
Life
I work for the U.S. Air Force as a Reference Librarian at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX. I have 2 children, Linley, 23 and Devin, 22. My husband, Wayne, and I have been married for 27 years. We met at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, when we both were stationed there in 1983. Wayne is an Air Force retiree who works at the Air Force ISR Agency on Lackland AFB. I was in the Air Force for 10.5 years and left after receiving my Masters Degree in Library and Info Science. I worked for the City of San Antonio as a librarian for 8....Expand for more
5 years and for the City of Albuquerque for 2 years. We have four West Highland White Terriers; Nuala, Lorna Doone, Crystal, and MacDuff. My Mom still lives in Levittown and is retired. My Dad passed away in February 2011. My brother, George, lives in Florida. He has two children, Samantha and Shawn, and two grandchildren, Madison and Mason with another on the way! I've recently been downsized from my job here at the base so will soon be traveling to England to begin a new job there in August.
