Sharon's Story
Life
Am I living the life I dreamed of all those years ago? Nope - not even close. The life I have is much more than I could have possibly imagined.
I've been married 21 years this August. I met the love of my life in 1982 and we married 11 months later.
We have been blessed with three great kids. They work hard to acheive their goals while having fun in the process. This fall, my oldest daughter (19) starts her junior year at CSUMB. My son (18) just graduated from Valley Christian HS and will be a freshman at SJSU. My baby (13) will be a freshwoman at NDSJ.
At this point in my life, I have become caretaker for my parents. I fall into that category of middle aged women who care for both their children and their parents at the same time. I am grateful to have the ...Expand for more
opportunity to be in the position to provide my parents with the care they gave me growing up.
I work for an off-sale discount chain as a system administrator. I enjoy my work. Somedays are more challenging than others. It's a great job with excellent benefits.
I still communicate with my best friend from YB and occasionally see other classmates. I wish I could contact old friends but haven't been able to find some of them on Classmates.
I have a group of close friends, both from school and work, who I truly love and enjoy. We get together for fun and mischief as time allows.
Overall, I am happy with my life. I take joy in watching my children learn and grow. I love my husband and enjoy my folks.
I wouldn't trade one moment of my life for anything in this world.
