Sharon's Story
(SEE ME ON FACEBOOK) After leaving Otis AFB, MA in 1968 I moved to Altoona, PA while my father had a years tour in Thailand. From there we moved to Tyndall AFB, FL in December of 1969. Due to problems with the school and my up coming graduation my parents sent me back to Altoona where I finished school. Upon graduation I went back to Panama City, Florida where I have been ever since. I have been married over 27 years to my now husband Ricky, I have a 43 year old daughter and an 15 year old god child I am raising. carpet cleaning and flooring caring company. Most of our time is spent working around the yard and our house, going to amusement parks around Florida and Georgia and going to church. I have seen and heard from some of my friends from Otis and Altoona over the past years, either passing through or living close by. Also, I have reconnected with them through Facebook. It was always so good to come across someone from my past.
Otis AFB was my biggest and best memory of my life. The group of kids I hung out with and certain people who actually made a big impact in my life. So much to remember and never want to forget.
