Sharon's Story

Graduated in Jun 1969, went into the USAF in Aug 1969. Been married 3 times, 2 children (boy & girl) from 2nd marriage. Widowed in Dec 2016. Stationed in FL, UK, MT, Germany, & AZ. Retired from USAF 1990 in AZ - in the administrative career field the whole time in. Worked for University of AZ (Transportation then Dept Geography & Regional Dev) in Tucson AZ. Involved in Jayceens, Boys and Girl Scouts, Soccer Boys and Girls teams, Little League, and Sunday School Teacher. Moved back to CA in Dec 99 purchased home...Expand for more
in Vista CA in Mar 2000. Helped, and eventually took over, my husband's watch and clock business. My kids are now grown and on their own- married with kids. Hobbies: Arts, crafts, music, dancing, gardening, cooking, fishing, boating, traveling, skiing(snow/water), hunting(bow, rifle, camera), genealogy, and trying to keep in touch with classmates and friends. Remarried in Jun 2022 and now live in Huntley IL. Am enjoying retired life by traveling all over the world and by being actively involved in my church

Where were you 50 years ago today? My siblings and I were glued to the TV watching Neil Armstrong, Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin, and Michael Collins on Apollo 11 lift off on their mission to the moon.
