Sharon's Story
Have been in North Carolina for more than four years now, living 3 miles from the ocean, and loving it.
(Haven't been through a major hurricane yet) Just 20 miles from Camp Lejeune and about 3 miles southwest of Emerald Isle.
I'm officially retired (for the 4th time) but busier than I've ever been. Play keyboard for Swansboro United Methodist Church Contemporary Worship Services, sing in the choir for regular services and volunteer with The Hem of His Garment between 30 and 60...Expand for more
hours a week. Yeah, I know, that's not exactly what you'd call retired! My 'official' title there is "jewelry lady". It's fun, creative and I wish I could have done this years ago!
Been sworn off of men for the past eight years after a bad lesson in choosing the wrong one the second time around. I sort of have a best buddy, but that's another story and I don't want to bore you.
Hoping to make the trek back to Ohio for our 50th. Somebody please let me know if and when?
