Sharon's Story
I married my husband in August of 1962 (5 days before I turned 21). I was working for the navy at the time and met Jerry while he was camping on Mt. Laguna. In March of 1963 we left by ship for Japan where we were stationed for three years and where our two daughters were born.
In 1979, after Jerry had retired from the Navy, we made the move to Minnesota and where we have resided since. I worked as...Expand for more
an Administrative Assistant and Jerry worked at the Post Office until our retirement. Since then, we spend our winters down south (for the past three years it has been in Alabama) and we spend part of our summers at our trailer in Alma, Wisconsin, on the Mississippi River. We have a pontoon so love to take the kids and grandkids out to the "islands" where they enjoy swimming and riding the jet skis.
