One of my most embarrassing moments at Gorgas was when I was in the 8th grade. I was very, very sick. I raised my hand to go to the restroom, but Mr. Johnson totally ignored me. By the time I walked up to him to tell him I felt like I had to throw up, I removed my hand from my mouth, threw up on his desk, and stuff came from both open areas of my body. I ran out of the room as fast as I could. I even remember what I had on...a black and white pleated skirt with a black top. I don't, however, remember who came to check on me, but Mrs. White delivered me home in her car with paper sacks on her car seat! I wore a red "princess" style dress to school and was coming down from 2nd floor, only I missed the first step from the landing and went tumbling down instead of walking down, just as Philip Puccio and his friends were walking by.
